Bondi Store 2IC

Primary Roles and Responsibilities

High Level

• Weekly and Monthly Reporting for ZANEROBE Bondi Junction store and Co-manage of fulltime and casual staff members
• Assist with stock management & reporting
• Create cross-promotional content + opportunities – PR in-store
• Create a strong customer database and assist in the development of Zanerobe rewards program instore.

Details

Manage the store on a day-to-day basis. This includes, dealing with customers and reporting to the Zanerobe Manager. Responsible for all duties and tasks in the absence of the Team Leader.

Responsibilities:

• Greeting customers when entering the shop
• Assisting customers with sizes, product information and fitting requirements.
• Detailed product knowledge of all inventory including care instructions, brand knowledge, material and fit knowledge
• Assisting in the management of stock control, including reporting on stock level requirements to head management
• Processing card and cash payments
• Restocking and merchandising the store
• Reporting discrepancies and problems to Team Leader or ZRHQ
• Balancing cash register with receipts (including end of day reporting and cashing up)
• Provide weekly store report to Team Leader and ZRHQ
• Dealing with customer exchanges and refunds
• Keeping the store tidy and clean, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting and general cleaning duties
• Check shoes and clothing are labeled correctly on a daily basis
• Responsible for security within the store, watch for shoplifters and fraudulent credit cards
• Receiving and storing all deliveries to the store
• Maintain tidy and organized stock room
• Be aware of health, safety and welfare practices in the workplace
• Be prompt and well groomed as per guidelines
• Participate in stock taking
• Arrange for the repair of damaged goods or advise of necessary repairs
• Keeping up to date with special promotions and put up displays
• Train new Sneaker Prodigies; reviewing and revising orientation to products and sales training materials; delivering training sessions; reviewing staff job results and learning needs with the Team Leader; developing and implementing new product training.
• Assists Team Leader with originating display and merchandising ideas
• Leading the Prodigies on the shop floor with the best customer service and sales knowledge
• Meeting KPI’s and encouraging casual staff to meet individual KPI’s.
• Deals with customer complaints
• Understand and support store operations, policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned by Team Leader

Skills required:

• Minimum of 3 years experience in retail
• Minimum 1 year experience in retail management
• Have a friendly and engaging personality
• Have a passion and knowledge for fashion with a specialty in men’s sneakers
• Confident and professional manner with customers
• Knowledge of inventory techniques
• Ability to problem solve and resolve customer enquiries promptly and professionally
• Ability to problem solve any issues with floor staff promptly and professionally
• Knowledge of POS system and Microsoft suite
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to deal with money accurately and honestly
• Ability to work on feet for long periods of time
• Ability to manage the diversity of different staff

The casual staff member’s role is to be professional and helpful to all customers within the store. They must have great product knowledge, impeccable customer service and must be able and willing to report regularly to the manager and work under store specific guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Greeting customers when entering the shop
